modheaven - Rubber Scar

Rubber Scar was born from an ongoing chapter in my life of feeling both incredibly lost and incredibly inspired at the same time. A rhythm of push and pull can be found in the bobbing tides of time passing and our own egos and identities evolving. Exploring a nostalgic downtempo sonic space, I wanted to represent this feeling through sounds which make me feel whole. This release also marked my first time engaging vocalists to record on my own music, which was a really cool and different experience. Haunting vocals and crisp ear candy dripping in tape delays. Enjoy.

Produced and recorded in Chicago 2025-2026 with vocal performances from local talents Kathia Torres, Eden Sorenson, and Sam Bolduc.
